Cork Institute of Technology are seeking potential students for available places in their new Advanced Certificate (Special Purpose Award – 30 Credits, Level 9 NFQ).
Applications will be accepted by submitting the relevant application form to the Department of Applies Social Studies, CIT. Selection will be based on application form, references and interview.
CIT will accept new applications until 5pm on August 31st. Interviews for potential students will be held on the following Tuesday, September 5th.

Certificate in Advanced Clinical Practice with Children and Families
This part-time course is offered in partnership with the Bessborough Centre, Cork and Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, London. The programme is designed to enable practitioners to stay in close touch with practice, whilst also developing the leadership and educational competencies of practitioner staff. It will facilitate practitioners from a wide range of specialisms to learn together and learn from each other’s service specific experience in pursuit of integrated cross-service and cross sector practice and management competence.
Who Should Apply?
This specialist programme will be of interest to practitioners with 2 years prior experience of working with children and/or families in a professional capacity. They must be actively engaged in work with children and families at the time of application and for the duration of the programme.
